About Julia

I am an accredited counsellor, psychotherapist, life-coach and meditation trainer. I have 12 years' experience as a secondary school teacher and group facilitator in education, corporate environments and private practice. I am passionate about helping people help themselves and the way counselling and coaching can make a real difference to people's lives. From my experience, adding breathing techniques, mindfulness and de-stress practices to therapy can be very effective – such as Autogenics and guided visualisation. These are particularly useful for people struggling with stress, insomnia, depression or anxiety, or those with a creative mind. I am continually exploring and learning about new and exciting forms of promoting healing, health, humour, hope and happiness.

Everyone who comes to me has a unique story. I accompany them for a while on their journey, and help them move forward with confidence and hope about the future they really want.
